  • Shelley Brown

    Shelley is our Executive Director. She has more than 25 years with MYLaw, having served as the organization’s Associate Director until 2015. Shelley previously worked for HopeWorks in Howard County and has over 30 years’ experience in the nonprofit sector. She holds her BA from Washington College and her MA in Education from Loyola University.

  • Shelane Bell

    Shelane Bell has served as the Teen Court Manager since 2016. In this role, she oversees all Teen Court intakes, hearings, and official correspondence, ensuring the program operates efficiently and with integrity. Shelane earned her undergraduate degree from Hood College and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. With over 20 years of experience working with children and families, Shelane brings extensive knowledge and dedication to youth advocacy and restorative justice. Prior to her current role, she worked with the Baltimore City Department of Social Services, specifically within the Out of Home Care division, supporting vulnerable youth and families.

  • Chyann Benjamin

    Chyann is our Program Manager for Law Links, Mock Trial and the City Council Page Program. She is a graduate of Morgan State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She is a recent Congressional Black Caucus Walmart Emerging Leaders intern and served as a legislative intern for Senator Patty Murray. Chyann previously worked as a district intern for Congressman Kweisi Mfume and supported local public service efforts through her work on Baltimore City Council President Zeke Cohen’s campaign. She brings experience in legislative research, community outreach, and youth engagement.
