Attorney Guide to Law Day

If you've been invited into the classroom for Law Day or Career Day, this guide offers classic activities that will generate plenty of discussion.

Talking Points & Writing Prompts

Building Civic Literacy through Talking Points and Writing Prompts is a convenient way for teachers to model, practice and reinforce pro-social behaviors in their students.  It helps students develop empathy, impulse control, and anger management while problem solving the conflicts of others as well as their own.  It provides ways for teachers and students to explore conflicts and problems together. This shared experience fosters communication in making connections, enhancing discussion and modeling problem solving. What better life skill could we give our students than this important building block for social competence? Suggested for elementary grades.

School Court Resource Guide

The School Court Guide will assist you in beginning or enhancing your School Court program. The guide includes suggestions for school courts models, a detailed curriculum, and activity section. CLREP staff are available to conduct school court implementation training and technical assistance with your program. Suggested for high school.
