considering peer mediation?

CLREP has been providing custom Peer Mediation training for elementary, middle and high schools for decades.  Our experienced staff will meet with you to determine specific needs of your site. We will customize training and materials  for your staff and students. And, we will be there to assist you in implementing and fine-tuning the program.

We know how important it is to achieve cooperation, effective communication, and comradery among the young people we teach. That's one of the reasons Peer Mediation is so effective - it helps to  foster a sense of community among those it engages. Having the buy-in of your staff, administrators, students and parents is critical - we can help you achieve this!

Our Peer Mediation programs are available on a fee-for-service basis. The cost is conservative, and feasible for most school budgets. Please call our office for more information, or to schedule an informational meeting. We'd be happy to speak with you! Or, email us with questions.

Peer Mediation is appropriate for:
  • Elementary Schools
  • Middle Schools
  • High Schools
  • Youth Groups

BENEFITS OF PEER MEDIATION

>It effectively resolves student conflicts and improves school climate

>It empowers young people and increases their self-esteem

>Peer mediation engages ALL types of students, even troubled or at-risk youth; it expects the best from everyone

>It teaches real-life skills including conflict-resolution through real world experiences

One of the advantages of Peer Mediation is the ability to implement it with all different age groups. While the steps are simplified for younger children, they still cover the same core principles.
